I would like to introduce you to what will be happening in
the Exploration rotation in the coming weeks and months. Beginning this week, we will have a series of
guests that will be coming and taking time to share with the kids about their
jobs/careers. Some of them will be
bringing “visual aides” that will help the kids identify with the job, while
others will simply be sharing stories, etc. with the kids. We will be asking our visitors to share with
the older kids what types of classes/subject areas they might want to explore
if they think that this job might be of interest to them. We will also ask them to share opportunities
like job shadowing, volunteering, etc.
There will be two “thank you” cards at the registration desk, please
have your kids sign them this Thursday, as we will be using them for thank
cards that we give to our guests.
